Thanks for the info. Maybe we will look into bringing our own shade. :cry:

Those "permanent" palapas are the way to go, that's for sure, although they, too, can be destroyed by weather.

One more thing about the beach, we just returned two weeks ago, and they added four new beds on the north end of the volleyball court just outside of the pool. They did this to make more bed space while the pool was closed. So there is a little less room for chairs.
Talk about slow, it took all week for about ten worker to build four bed frames, I know for a fact they were watching the action at the pool rather then working!!

LOL, I forgot about that, Jack.....that job would have been done less than a day here at home...there, they were still working on it a week later....guess topless women playing lots of volleyball really slows things down!
