Just wanted to add a few quick comments. The RM continues to be amazing.... Arrived to DP on 2/20...continued on to DRM on 2/23 until yesterday...
Room was excellent, gardens impeccable. Pool was beautiful. Staff--simply the best anywhere.
Food was outstanding. They continue to offer amazing food options like paia, ceviche bars, seafood/fresh meat grills, etc. Makes our mouths water... Restaurants were all excellent. Sahlo was disappointing on our last trip (any disappointment is a rarity at Desire.) This trip it was outstanding. Kudos.

Entertainment and disco were great. Hot tub a bit warm at times, but we seemed to acclimate.
Sadly, a few smokers breaking the rules, including the couple that lit up literally at the disco bar immediately adjacent the dance floor. Bartender was on it immediately and made them leave if they opted to smoke.

Overall, we have zero complaints. Perhaps the only thing that could be said is that the beach seaweed is bad, but frankly that seems to be a 'nature thing' and losing battle for the resort and we'll simply walk around it.
The crowd was amazing, one of the best we've seen....beach volleyball at 3:30...

Desire Riviera Maya continues to be the finest CO/lifestyle resort in the world!

Agree on the hot tub temp... about 2 degrees warmer than I would like it for extended stays.

is it warm enough in February to enjoy the beach? looking at a first trip next February, but i hate cold more than about anything i can think of, so i'm a bit concerned about the temperature. the only other time of year we've been to cancun was in late may, and one day it was a little chilly due to clouds and rain.
