Do you only receive the yellow band once?

Sorry if this has been covered, but we are making our first trip to RM (our first trip to any Desire resort was Pearl last September) and were wondering if we'll be given the yellow bands again. Or did they do away with the color bands completely due to the new room access chips? Saw some chatter here and there, but it wasn't clear to us.

Yellow bands are only for your first visit. As return guests you'll receive a white band if you are not a member.

We got a yellow band on our first visit to Pearl, and then we got yellow bands again on our first visit to RM. Enjoy!

We were yellow for 8 days recently.... never felt that it was a big deal. Not approached any more than others. Usually came up after a chat... oh you guys are first timers.
