Hello,

Can someone please suggest specific room numbers which you feel are the best in the category of Ocean View? (Not the standard room and not the jacuzzi room).

For instance: which rooms might be best for viewing the beach? I noticed some of the OV rooms are on the ground floor and I worry this would result in a blocked view from the beach beds?

The view of the ocean from all of the ground floor OV rooms is obscured by the beach beds so your only choice left is are the ones on the upper floor

Have a look at the Desire RM room map and pick one that appeals to you

Also as a FYI - room assignments are on a ROH (run of house basis) you can request a specific room but there is no guarantee you will get what you asked for.

If you do the express check in, put in your first three room choices - you will "usually" get one of them if it's available.

What is the "express check-in"?

I know that this is an old thread but we would like to "try" to get an OV upstairs room. We have been to RM three times and stayed in an OV upstairs, OV downstairs and GV downstairs. Our first and best room was the OV upstairs #1601 (I think). However I believe that the rooms upstairs in villa 16 are considered junior suites. My wife is a cigarette smoker and we would like an OV room with a balcony. We would appreciate the room numbers if available or should we just put in a generic request for an upstairs OV (assuming they all have balcony patios). Thanks in advance for any info.
