Checking in

At the risk of starting a long debate on this topic, we felt the same and after doing the math, we became members so each time we visit it's a 25% discount. Because we knew that we'd be going 2 or 3 times per year it will be a good deal for us. Our membership is paid off and we have hit that breakeven point so now it's a true discount each time we book....really helps during our spring visits (March) when rates are high season.

IMHO, it was a no-brainer, we have heard many reasons people would never do it and we respect their perspective, however Desire has become our destination when on holiday and we don't see that changing anytime soon. So, we rewarded ourselves, knowing that the resort doesn't have a reward program!

We are members as well. One of the better decisions the wife and I have made!! The perks are great and to keep this on topic the 25% discount really helps us to afford the high season rates. We also go in late march-early April time and this is high season.

Couldn't agree with you more. We became members on our second trip knowing this would be our destination when traveling without the family. We did the math and figure after 6 weeks we will be ahead of the game, we also travel during high season so the discount is well worth it. The added perks didn't even figure into the equation but if you throw in the dinners, butler service etc. the payback is even quicker.
