Is Pearl better than RM for swingers?

Been reading on reddit that RM has become more like Tempations with people wearing bathing suits and there is not a lot of swinging actually taking place. We are veterans of RM having gone there many times in a big group organized by J & A from Swingercast fame. And we went a couple times ourselves the last time being 2018. We didn't find a lot of opportunities to play with other couples and really like that aspect of our trip. Wondering what peoples experiences are?

Just got back from RM and it was 90% swingers. Both resorts are great. Don't sweat it.

Been to both. RM definitely has swingers. I remember the last time I was there and there was a group on the first floor new Eden with the swim out pool, doors open, and banging away with three couples. I was caught admiring the view and was waived in to stop by. Night time at the jacuzzi was a blast. But like all things, I guess it depends on the crowd for that week. If wife and I wanted to play, yeah, we could have played.
For Pearl, same. Saw couples playing in the jacuzzi. Here too, if we wanted to play we could have played.
Both places are super social but we like the quieter vibe of Pearl over louder vibe of RM. but both are a blast and there are definitely people playing.

It absolutely varies week to week depending on the crowd. We've been to RM 15x and Pearl 3x and honestly, the past few Pearl trips have been way wilder than most trips to RM. Could be the week we go- could be many factors. But it does seem, at least to us, RM has skewed a bit more toward the cowboy hat and board short group vs. Pearl where most are naked. Both places are amazing. You won't be disappointed in either place. Go without worry- your tribe will be there- just gotta pick through the bunch to find the handful you desire.

Agreed. There are many factors, weekly change of crowd is one of them but I agree that RM is crazier at night than Pearl. But if you’re looking to play, your tribe is there to play. Put yourself out there. Have no ego. Just have fun and that fun is attractive and intoxicating to others.

LOL, Nina calls those people "posers". As others have said, it varies week to week and we have fun at both places.

Pearl is more of the traditional Desire experience. RM has some Temptation flavor these days. Both are great. Don’t overthink it. Just pick one and go!

I think it depends on what you're looking for.
We are an early 50s couple,
We've been to RM about 7-8 times and Pearl 3x. We come for only 3 nights, and we come to play.
In RM, we are at about 50% success rate, and last few times we barely even talked to anyone. Just no one we seemed to connect with, even socially. Never was the case years ago - either the crowd changed, or we have.
By comparison, at Pearl we are 3 for 3, and always tons of people we find stuff in common with. Just our experience.
