Hi All,

We're looking forward to our first visit to Pearl, first week of June. As soon as we booked, I began collecting costumes for the themes posted. Then, they changed the themes and now I have stuff I don't need (animal print, neon, arabian nights) and will have to start putting together outfits for the new list of themes. But, before I do that, how often do they change the themes? Do you think they'll change again, before our trip? And, if you don't dress the theme, are you therefore not allowed into the night club that night? How many of the men dress for the theme? And, finally, what in the world are people wearing for Kings and Queens????

I made the mistake of being over eager after booking our stay. I purchased my GF sexy dinner wear, lingerie based on themes and shoes (yes, a man does/can shop for his lady and do it well)
Then, a few weeks later I discovered theme nights had changed. What to do? Not to worry, Sexy is sexy...wear (or dont wear) what you have. My experience has been that Women tend to get nekkid pretty quick anyway. Problem solved. I figure all the sexy lingerie I bought will still be worn and I highly doubt anyone will say a word seeing a beautiful sexy women in a barely there outfit.

On reading up about theme nights there seems to be a recurring theme that the ladies, or perhaps the men too, very often end up naked in the disco as the night goes on, lol. Does this happen often?? We sure hope so!! And does it mean naked for dancing and partying at the disco? or just getting naked as they leave the disco to head to the hot tub? Naked disco night sounds like the best theme ever!

Last June at Pearl, each night we ended up completely naked each night in the disco. We have always done so at HBR, so it seems appropriate...and more fun...at Pearl.

If May 4-11 is not the same, we will be disappointed.

We have started shopping for dinner and theme outfits for our coming trip, Jun 27-Jul 1 at Pearl and Jul 1-6 at RM. We're a little unsure about outfit ideas for 'him' for a few of the themes and would like to know what the guys who do dress for these themes typically wear. We've checked what the resorts suggest on their websites, but it's not that exactly clear what look they are going for. Appreciate any ideas on men's outfits for the following themes:

- Cherry to Strawberry night (Fri at Pearl) - website suggests sexy red.
- Heavenly Night (Sun at Pear) - website suggests red devils.
- Sparkling Black & While Celebration (Thur at RM)
- Linger Night (Sat at RM) - website says trendy black for men.

We all know it's all about the ladies, but it's great when the guys dress up too!
If those were our themes he would probably wear....
Cherry to Strawberry ; he has some nice maroon pants with a soft red shirt (smart casual)
Heavenly night (have done this one!) ; he had black mesh boxers with red front insert, black mesh vest, devil horns and trident. I was an angel, obviously (loads of fun that night!)
Sparkling Black and White ; he will be black pants/ shirt or white pants/ shirt depending on what I decide to wear on the night!
Lingerie ; who cares what the website says, he will be in boxers, probably with a cheeky slogan.

Sometimes he just stays smart casual all night and I will dress to the theme, but increasingly he will dress after dinner too. We have some great outfits for September for Cowboy/ Cowgirl, Couples nights etc. Really, really can't wait!

What percentage of men and women actually dress up?

We're only staying for 3 nights so what is usually worn for.......
Sunday- Heavenly White (Ladies: Sexy white angels & Gents: Red devils)
Monday- Sexy Queen and Kings
Tuesday- Lust in the dark

A lot of the ladies dress up, and a fair few of the men (hard to give % as it varies with the crowd). Just remember "dressing up" doesn't have to mean buying tons of specifically themed stuff, just a nod to the theme is fine too if that's how you feel. I just love to use my imagination and think about what I already have, and how I can "tweak" it with accessories to make it fit a theme....for example.....
Angels & Devils ; see above for what he wore. A lot of the ladies are in white with halos and/or angel wings. Dresses or lingerie - it's up to you! For men black pants/ red shirt & horns would work well.
Sexy Kings & Queens - a new one for me. I'd grab a couple of cheap crowns, tiaras and just wear whatever I felt fabulous in. You could do the whole Marie Antoinette if you wanted to!
Lust in the Dark ; We've done Leather & Lace, I had a gorgeous sheer lace dress for dinner (he was his usual sexy smart self) and then we changed to "Leather" ie fetish for later, PVC, chains, straps etc. There was a pretty good turnout for this too.

But remember, if you do or don't dress up, it doesn't really matter. We love to. Some don't. No one will judge you either way, as long as you are feeling sexy and fabulous, all is good!

So since less is more for the theme outfits and the skimpier the better, how common is it for guys to dress skimpy to match their ladies level of dress (or undress, lol)?? I'm think sexy boxers or even men's thong and shirtless maybe, for themes like lingerie night or couples costume, etc.? Is this very common and would there likely be other men dressed like this? Men would probably be more likely doing this if other guys are doing it too and perhaps a little uncomfortable if they are the only guy dressed like that and all the others are in shirts and pants. We're in the process of selecting outfits for our late June trip and wondering what the norm is for the guys who do participate in the themes? Appreciate any info!
