...and if you have any concerns while doing your research, be careful how you ask it, at least that has been my experience so far. Well, with one member of the forum who takes exception to newbies voicing their concerns while doing research. Fortunately, every other person I have communicated with via either public forum, or those who have sent me private messages, have been so incredibly understanding regarding the concerns we shared and have been so helpful and supportive in our decision making process, we aren't letting one bitter apple spoil the cider ( I have a Magners from time to time when flying through Schiphol in Amsterdam).
We are looking forward to making our first trip in the Spring. We are not in the lifestyle, which is why we are asking questions and voicing concerns so that we can make better informed decisions before we get there. We want the first experience to be positive, and if we go in knowing as much as we can beforehand, it stands a much greater chance of being successful.
As for your questions, here are our responses:
1) we are a mid 40's/mid 30's married couple.
2) my favorite question as I intend to be nekkid as much as possible
3) we went to our first (and only so far) clothing optional resort this past spring. Apprehensive was definitely us. Within 5-10 minutes of being on the island (Couples Tower Isle in Jamaica, where no clothes are allowed on the c/o isle) we were as comfortable out of our clothes as we had ever been in them. We were hooked. The people were great and I have no doubts Desire will be just as great.
4) it is said that the theme nights can change on short notice. We will be checking up until a few days before we leave. We want to enjoy as much of the resort experience as we can. What boundaries we cross will be determined once there.
Have a great trip and experience. I have no doubt we will as well.
