Restaurant recommendation?

Is there a local restaurant anyone can recommend? Wife and I walked down the beach to Puerto Morales our first trip and saw a couple that looked intriguing, but was right after lunch so we didn't stop and try.

John Gray's Kitchen was recommended to us when there last time. We tried it, loved it, and will be back this time. Had an awesome lunch there.

We've eaten at El Merkadito every trip to Pearl. The food is great and the margarita's will knock you on your ass if not careful. It's on the beach, close to the marina. We've also stopped at "My Pleasure" and "Unico Beach Bar" for drinks.

If you want to go into Playa Del Carmen we can highly recommend Manne's Biergarten...

Visit every time when if they are open as they close for a month in the summer for vacation. Great people, food, and atmosphere...

Cab ride is about 25 mins and the cabbie waited for us the last time no additional charge.
