Party Favors!

My cajun queen and I are planning our first trip finally and will be arriving to the Pearl. We are doing our shopping for the theme nights and a pool game or two. Does anyone have some ideas for party favors and handouts we can bring? I read some posts about it in the past but for the life of me cant find them again.
- For the theme nights, if the outfit is very skimpy, is that to be worn to dinner or is that strictly after dinner?
-would the staff allow pool beer pong?
-if we bring a speaker and ipod can it be played at the jaccuzi if not to loud? (I read that there is no music at all)
-which rooms come with a hammock on the balcony
-can anyone reccomend a room that opens up to the pool but is shaded and semi quiet?

I'll try to answer a couple of them.

Skimpy outfit - a lot hinges on your definition of "skimpy" but *usually" the women will wear classy, sexy, revealing outfits to dinner and get out the really skimpy stuff for the disco afterwards. You don't see many women in lingerie-type outfits at dinner but plenty at the disco. If you go to Yandy.com - the dresses section kind of corresponds to dinner and the lingerie section (and less) corresponds to disco. All that said, I know that plenty of women do wear very skimpy stuff to dinner. I think the only rule is you can't be naked.

There is music at the hot tub. I would think that bringing your own would clash somewhat with the music that is already playing. Rather than set up your own music area, move around and meet people. You've heard your music before but you've never met those people over there or those over there. Do stuff you can't do at home.

I think a pool game is a great idea but I can't think of any handouts. I would just "buy" body shots for the winners.

Thanks so much for the reply. I had read that there was no music at the hot tub but if that isnt the case thats great, I will leave the speaker at home! This is our first time at a resort of this type and my better half is alittle nervous about what to wear (or not wear) and when. We will definitely check out yandy. Our amazon cart for outfits and necessities is getting pricey! Does anyone else have this problem?! Haha.

We have that "issue" but I don't consider it a *problem* (I know you were joking).

When I think of all the guys who's wives wouldn't even *think* of wearing what she does - much less parade around in front of people (and all the other things she does - ahem) - I am so lucky that I am more than willing to indulge her shopping carts. I will mortgage the f**king house if I need to. Bring it on Baby!

Yeah I gotta say, I have been encouraging her to go ahead on items when normally the scrooge would be comin out....boy is she appreciative.... but what she doesnt realize is im already benefiting from the purchases....getting to see her strut her stuff and make new friends. double score
