My wife is topless all the time and bottomless in the pool and hot tub, and depending on what is going on you find her bottomless at any point. Myself, I'm naked at pretty much all times other than restaurants and the club.

We've never been to a CO resort before, but our intention is to go nude most of the time. Will we jump straight in, can't say till we get there and feel the vibe of the place, but hopefully it'll encourage us to take the leap.

Great attitude Feverpair, I believe this is the best way to approach a CO resort for the first time. This is exactly what we did on our first trip and it was amazing how freeing and liberating it was. We never thought we would go to such a place but now you can't keep us away.

we went to RM a few years ago, first time at a CO. we were both naked and loving it 5 min after check in.... we only put clothes on for theme nights, eating and going off resort...

I remain nude most of time, except for breakfast and lunch, wearing a pareo and t-shirt.
For dinner, I dress up with nice slacks, closed shoes and elegant linen shirt.
I don't understand why, being in one of the few, probably the best nudist resort in America (continent, not country), people choose wearing clothes in C/O places.
My wife wears just a pareo for breakfast; then we head to beach, where it comes down; wears it again for lunch and disappears as soon as we leave the restaurant. I don't know why, but I get very excited when she walks nude to and from the restroom or to our room.
For dinner, of course she dresses up very sexy, and more revealing for disco.
We have a rule: absolutely not underwear or swimwear during all vacation!

Everyone has their own opinions, i think it doesn't get any sexier then my wife totally naked. i can see her in a tiny sexy bikini at home on any beach in the states, when at Desire it time to be totally naked as much as possible. Thankfully she loves being naked as much as i do so it works.

Several people have asked why more people don't go completely naked at Desire. Well, I will give you one couple's perspective. We have been to TTR twice and Desire once. We like TTR's concept a lot, party atmosphere, incredibly fun people, naughty fun, etc. However, what we can't stand about TTR is that is not a very nice resort at all. It might sound harsh, but TTR is a dump. If we could find a TTR concept at a 5 star resort, it would be heaven.

But since that doesn't exist, what is the next best option for a couple like us? Desire was the best and quite frankly only option. When we went to Desire, a couple of days my wife went completely nude, the other days she was topless with a thong (her preference). I would go nude in the pool and in the hot tub, otherwise I would have my suit on. We actually don't care for the clothing optional part of Desire (would prefer topless). But that's not why we go. We go because it is 4.5 stars, great service, the people are awesome, everyone dresses naughty, and dare I say slutty at night, and there is a great sexy vibe to the place. And to give a little more background on us,we aren't prudes (although some of you might be thinking that). We are very open to the lifestyle. Keep in mind, just because we aren't 100% naked doesn't mean we aren't there for a good time.

So in summary, there is a a type of customer that likes the 4-5 star resort, sexy naughtiness, topless aspect, fun outgoing people. We just don't care for the completely clothing optional part.

The only other CO resort I've been to was Couple Tower Isle in Jamaica. I loved the "not optional" part of that resort. If you went to the island, you were naked, no questions about it. It 'leveled the field', if you will...

I plan on being naked and having my little weewee soaking up the sun as much as possible at Desire, in our visit "within a month". My wife will be topless most of the time, and probably have her bottoms off when we are tanning/pool/relaxing.
Regarding what others are wearing/not wearing....I really don't give a shit. I'm there to have a good time and relax. I'm sure they have their reasons to be there, and I hope they have fun! At 41 years old, I've seen a lot of naked bodies, a couple extra aren't going to put me over the edge...

IMHO no one who goes to a Desire Resort is a prude. How can you be?

What we do like about CLOTHING OPTIONAL resorts is that no one is [url]forced[/url] to be completely naked if they aren't comfortable to do so.

LifeStyle Friendly (whatever your lifestyle is).

Bare as you dare. Be as sexy as you want to be and be as comfortable as you want to be. It's a place to 'push your boundaries' if that's what you want out of your vacation.

I have often heard the term 'level the field' when it comes to being nude and I don't quite understand what that means. I do 'get' that if you go to a resort with a designated nude beach, then your options are to either be nude or you don't go. But if you are going to a resort where the whole resort is 'optional' then that's exactly what you have - options.

On any given day and/or week at the Desire properties, you can't really judge the 'percentage' of people who are totally naked. It varies from week to week, day to day and hour to hour.

Do I care that others' aren't nude and I am or vice - versa? No. Do I think wearing something as opposed to not wearing something 'more sexy'? Nope, not at Desire. Everyone there is sexy, to me, no matter what they wear or don't wear.
