Dinner reservations only for members. Wow that's really F'd up.
We pay just as much money to stay there as members if not more and they treat us like beggers on the street!! WTF!
What next... members only in the hot tub and disco?

Funny thing…we are not members and have gone to Pearl once or twice a year since 2012. Last trip no reservations were available between 6pm and 9 pm, BUT if we committed in advance to buy a bottle of wine, we could dine at whatever time we liked. FWIW. YMMV.

I am just curious... has anyone just flashed a $20 to the lady and then asked for a reservation.. I find I get the pool chairs we want for our visit with a well placed ( bride ) tip. and we are not members.. but we do go there alot..

Apologies if this was stated already, but does this also apply to Suki? We are landing fairly late in the day our first day and just wanted to have a time set to get dinner once we got to the resort, so we were just going to make reservations at Suki the first night.

yes it does, although we couldn't make a reservation at Suki, we popped in at 6pm and asked when they would have a table for us, they offered us 7pm, back. went to the Hot Tub and dragged my better half and some friends out and we were there for 6.55, the table was ready at 7.10 and a lovely night continued.

My point is that even without a reservation it is worth popping there when they open and they'll likely fit you in at some point.

Of course if you're members, the butler will do it if you let them know on arrival

A question about the reservation issue...we are not members but have booked an upper-end room in April...the Master Suite with Plunge Pool. Will that make any difference?

We returned recently and saw a band color we had not seen before - gray. We spoke to the guests and this was for the Master Suite Plunge Pool rooms. They had a butler, so would expect (but don't know) that you could get reservations.

It's been a while since posts on this thread, was curious if the dinner reservation system was still the same.

And maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find the hours for the restaurants.

And I believe I saw $10 for room service...does that mean it's normally $10 only regardless of what you order?

We had a plunge pool suite and a butler and he made reservations for us. In fact he was not only helpful but pro active, he checked with us every day and asked where and what time we wanted to to dine. And on the one occasion he didn’t find us he went ahead and made a reservation for us anyway.
I mainly booked the plunge pool suite to ensure a ground floor room, but the butler turned out to be a major plus for dining and cabana beds. Anther major unexpected plus was that the outdoor hot tub at the room was really hot.
To echo what was said earlier on this thread, we had to walk past the mansions all the time, and although the rooms look excellent, the ambience around their pool and dining was zero.

Agreed with everything Travmex said above. The mansion has impressive rooms but with the warmth and charm of the average masoleum; not worth the extra cash. If you have butler service with your room that is the best way of getting a reservation. Even if you don't have a butler you can still call the front desk for help. The fee for room service is just a flat fee, if it is not included in your room. It doesnt matter what you request.
