Choosing Room Location - Help from experts needed!

Postby FeelingSwirly » Mon Jan 13, 2020 10:44 am

Hi! My hubby and I will be at Pearl... we booked a Master Suite (it was all that remained). Which is better - ground floor for easy access (so to speak), or upper for an ocean view?

We'd like a room that isn't right on the beaten path, but not isolated either.

Which room number should I request in my online check in?

Thanks, yall! :bj

Any room will be fine. Don’t forget that you will be spending in it only few hours per day and the rest of the time you will be enjoying Pearl and all of the beautiful people who are happened to be there same time as you. There are no true isolated rooms in the resort. Some are closer to the “center of gravity” some are few extra meters away. I may be wrong, but I do not think there are any master suites on the first floor, so you will have to be prepared to clime those stairs. Enjoy your stay!!!!

There are no master suites in the Seahorse or Seashell bldgs. They are centrally located. Send me a PM and I can email you a map.

I haven't seen them in person yet, but I found a layout of each online and it looks like the Master Suite has two bathrooms and a separate sitting area plus the bedroom. The Junior suite appeared to be more of a traditional hotel room. We don't plan to be in the room much - we are people persons! But Master Suite was all that remained when we booked this trip!

There ARE a few master suites on the ground floor, which are our preference (see Cokeman's links for locations). The main advantage of the master suite is having two full baths, and the extra room is occasionally nice if you have a few people back to the room.

Agreed - we always stay in a master on the ground floor. Easy access to make a quick trips to the room if needed, and the second bathroom is key to getting ready for evening fun at the same time.

Since everything is close anyway, we love the quiet end of the pool (sea star building, rooms 76-88). We’ve stayed in a ground floor master with plunge pool and a second floor master, both in that building.

I believe the grd flr masters are 2, 3, 10, 11, 21, 22, 64, 65. When you do express ck in just ask for a grd fl. and a bldg, if you have a preference.

We only know the room we like, which is 65, and we've already requested this one for our next stay.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
