My wife and I were booked for May 2. Given the virus we just rescheduled to Aug 7. After booking I noticed that the month of August is Sexy Young and Wild month. I am scared. What does this mean for our vacation? Has anyone been there for this before? It is our first time going to any type of resort like this. My wife will dress hot as hell for me in public when we go out but neither of us have ever been to any nude resorts or lifestyle type venues. We are in our 40s and looking to get away to have fun with each other in a hot environment. Not looking to play with others. Are we in over our head with it being Sexy Young and Wild month? Thank you!

Not much difference for August. Sometimes they have a special theme night or something. Other than that, I know August allows a single female to travel with a couple. Don't worry about it.

Not a lot different - sex allowed in the pool (like it doesn't happen anyway). We have been to Desire resorts probably 20 times spread over many different months of the year.

January and August are not that different from the others. Hint - those were their slowest months so they invented themes. Even "International Swingers Month" in January (as it used to be called) was simply just a made up theme designed to try to fill empty rooms.

I haven't looked at the schedule for this year, but look out for "Music Fest" week during August at Pearl. This week is a takeover event that we unknowingly ran into. Completely different crowd and vibe, much younger and much less public activity. Any other week should be not very different from normal.

We were told that the Music Fest week was not happening this year at Pearl - the group was planning on doing something larger at Temptations. We would not return to Pearl during Music Fest Week. Too many posers and cameras out in public - not to mention the drone they used to take overhead video and photos for their website.

I don't suggest music fest week unless you actually book with the group. They have a lot of private parties leaving the rest of the resort completely empty. It was eerie at times.

Lots of pretty people, but very tame with lots of clothes on.

We were there in January and it was still called ISM.

There really isn't any difference month-to-month - you should be fine.

Agree with all that has been said. August isn’t really wild and nuts. Plus, it’s really a very respectful place. If you do t want to play, there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Our first time, we enjoyed the vibe and the wife made out with one girl and that was it. The people treated us newbies really gently and courteously.

Agree, don't give it a thought. We've done Aug. several times. Occasionally a couple with a third female was the only difference. We missed April so we are looking at Aug. 15 this year. Assuming.......
