Hi, we looked into booking Pearl for May, but there's almost no availability. Anyone know what percent capacity Pearl is at these days? Ie, are 100% of the rooms available to be booked? Just wondering if more rooms may come available or if Pearl is already 100% open/available. Thanks

There’s still availability. We’ve booked several trips since 1/1 including one two days ago.

We were there over St Patrick week and it was packed and told there was no rooms available when we tried to upgrade, much closer to 100% then 60%

We were just told they were at 95% this week at Pearl when we talked to a butler. I verified that was 95% of TOTAL capacity, not 95% of 60%...

That said, it was incredibly slow in the middle of the week and a huge group (almost 40 couples) came in yesterday... so as an average for the week, 60% is probably accurate.

Thanks for the intel. Yesterday I booked a trip in April, online. Very few rooms were available, we had to mix rooms to make it work. But today I spoke with them and they were able to keep us in one room.

This thread is very encouraging. I don’t care two bits about capacity while we visit. But I’m genuinely glad Desire appears to be doing well after the past 12 months of hardship.

Same. This is great news.

I had seen it mentioned in a previous post a few months ago that Cancun is defining their occupancy rates as a weekly % capacity. Meaning resorts can (and sounds like they are) fully booked over the weekends, and clear out to 30-40% Mon-Thur and still be in compliance. We're going in July, and I fully expect the weekend to be filled out.
