Bren and I will be at Pearl next week (April 21). I have been reading a lot of people are not getting naked and having fun. Has anyone been lately and what is the vibe?

Out of curiosity, where are you reading this? We just booked our first trip for June so we certainly hope the vibe is at least fun!

What???? Where have you read that? We have been 14+ times to Pearl in the last 3.5 years (RM when Pearl is full) we went July 2 when it opened after Covid, October, December, February and on our way Thursday. ALWAYS FUN! Most are naked...at least in the hot tub. Hot tub is full and active (Tuesday-Thursday is quiet at both) weekends are always more fun with a lot more people....don't know where you were reading. Average age is the same at both, the same people go back and forth (40-60) yes, we see the same people at both. You will love either place!

This is simply not true.

Plenty of nakedness and fun and we find such things are best measured on one’s personal scale. Those who would impose their expectations of another’s behavior are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I would say the vast majority are naked. However I will say I have seen more people clothed the last few times than we did years ago. For what it worth the clothed are still vastly outnumbered. My two cents: if desire is a judgement free zone then being clothed or not shouldn’t matter. With that said, If the percentage increases there should be rules IN the hot tub as it can definitely changed the vibe there.

We've been twice this year. Jan and March. This statement is not accurate, most were naked. yes sometimes walking around to the room, lobby, restaurants people will get clothed. Just a preference. Don't sweat it and go enjoy.

It stands to reason that the low prices and pent up demand to travel could very well be bringing in more first timers checking out the idea of a Pearl vacation. IMO, the wider the net Pearl can cast, the happier we should all be. The more people book, the more the resort thrives.

Bren and I have been going to Desire, except Covid 2020, for years. Based on your feedback, next week will be a great trip. Source of the concern I posted was from social media.

You'd definitely see naked people if you were at RM next week!!!

If someone complains I’ll recite Rhett’s final line to Scarlett when she famously asked someone why they weren’t as naked as she thought the ought to be and noted that it hurt her ability to enjoy the vibe.

Not sure why, but the crowd this year has been sexier and more naked overall than ever before (I have suspicions related to the impact of Covid but, regardless, all good!
