Has anyone stayed there? Pros? Cons?

We have stayed in the mansion a number of times since last fall. We were not sold on it to begin with, but the mid-pandemic membership deal made sense for us.

Cons:
-no ocean view (this was the hardest part for us and one that we're still struggling with. had a Master Suite last trip and really enjoyed the morning views)
-secluded and quiet at times
-much of the courtyard is in the shade and was cold mid-winter
-breakfast/lunch area is nice, but boy it takes a long time to get food
-the foyer can be very noisy at 6:30 AM when the ambiance music kicks in and the staff refills the ice coolers!

Pros:
-the extra level of service is incredible (now with 2 butlers will be even better)
-we like having fully stocked, self-serve bars available to us 24x7
-the rooms are much nicer (and the shower is a real shower)
-the additional amenities (included transport, massage, mani/pedi) almost pay for the member contract rate difference (likely not the same when paying market rate)
-we have done the mansion dinner a number of times with larger groups and it was nice to have a customized alternative to the existing restaurants (menus did not change much during the pandemic)
-the playroom/shower is great. it is what the disco playroom should be
-lastly, the swim up rooms are the best! late night pool right outside your room is very convenient

Better HVAC units is our go to.

Bathroom is great.

Aside from that, they made us an offer we couldn't refuse. So we bought.

We will only stay in the summer for the shade. Use the PH in winter for the views.
