Hey there-we are quite excited about our first trip to Desire in September and are starting to think about our costumes- is it safe to say that the theme night schedule posted on the Desire website will still be the same in September? Not sure how often they change them up.

They change on a year to year basis. There are occasional special event nights, but those are on the website.

Next year, FYI, Neon, Latin, and Casino night will remain for sure.

Just curious, on average, what percentage of the ladies dress up for theme nights, vs percentage of the guys...

That is a great and often asked question. This requires the "It depends" sort of response. Participation fluctuates greatly between themes and crowd.

The best advice I can give you is to go as comfortable as you are able to. Our first trip we went conservative. We quickly realized that its ok to go a little cray cray. So we have ramped it up since then. Just relax, have fun, let go, and make good memories.

Echo above, yes, it depends. But generally half to more than half of the ladies dress up for the theme night. Guys, generally less than half.

When we first visited we didn't participate. Then she started dressing up some. Then we both did. Now it's probably one of the biggest expenses with our trip (especially given her desire not to be caught dead in something someone else is wearing which means no Yandy, Amazon, etc).

Agree in addition to the theme night outfits take up a large portion of our luggage (not counting the wine and sugar-free Redbull we bring).
