If so, we are thirsty here for info re what was or wasn't your experience with Covid. We are coming up on decision time as to whether or not to cancel. Is the majority going and returning without Covid and the hassle therein? Lots of folks out here wondering, for sure. IF we make the newbie trip on March 7, you can bet we'll post our Covid experience-or-not as soon as we return. It seems the least we can do. Can u help out as a recent visitor?

just got back yesterday. no issues with covid anywhere! only trouble is flights, as they have a pilot shotage. American cancelled on us 12 hours before flight and nothing else for two days. had to stay extra day for United flight.

There are lots of variables to your request…vaccinated/non vaccinated, prior infections.

We returned on Jan 2nd from Pearl, honestly we knew of more people being positive at home than at the resort. We are both fully vaccinated, and Canadian so we need a PCR test to return home.

We return at the end of March and would have been back next week if we could have found availability.

Thanks for that. For the record, we read that as of Feb 5, Cancun was no longer "orange" status (orange being one step from the dreaded red.). It was, said the news report, changed by the state this week to yellow...which is one step from green if I remember correctly. And my remarks assumed fully vaccinated individuals. One might get the impression on a given day that the closeness of participating in the Pearl experience was/is resulting in widespread Covid spread and quarantining -- or at least enough to give a couple pause. Your comment provides a sharper picture, assuming your experience was more typical. Right now we are watchful and waiting for our March 7 scheduled departure.
