Current Condition of Beach

We are currently in Puerto Morales and walk the beach daily. Unfortunately the beach and water in front of the resort is overwhelmed with sea grass. If you enjoy swimming in the ocean your only alternative will be to walk south towards the town. Also the pier is still not open, work is ongoing but not sure when it will be completed.

On our trip in July 2021, they were still pounding the pilings into the ground. That motorized air compressor made some interesting noises. They sure have taken their time getting that work done. I really hope they finish the pier before June. We miss the opportunity to take pics out there.

Was there last week.

Beach has some seaweed washing up. It's manicured as best it can be.

Dock is built all the way out, they were doing the planks and were about 75 percent finished.

The reason it's taken time is they had a severe materials shortage.
