Men's attire at theme nights

I've tried searching through the forums and haven't really found a good answer so sorry if this is a repeat topic!

My wife and I are visiting for the first time this May. I was curious what men typically wear for the theme nights. We are going to be there Wed-Saturday night so the themes are Fetish, Sensual, Glow, and Tropical. I know everyone is naked all day but do men wear really revealing lingerie type clothes for the theme nights along with women or is it more normal clothes?

I know it seems like everyone is pretty accepting of whatever anyone does, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what to look for so we can participate the best we can.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

We were in your EXACT position last year...so I can help. We have our 2nd visit at the end of this coming April. Our 1st time was last April...we are both EXTREMELY conservative people in high profile business professions....we both dressed conservatively because we had no idea what to expect and stayed comfortable...the most the wife did was no bra in lingerie style outfits. The most I did was be completely nude under a red robe for casino night (robe hid everything). This time...the wife is having GREAT FUN at choosing outfits for both of us. I will tell you that she will be dressed extremely sexy (see-thru tops and bottoms)...but very tasteful. I have agreed to do the same...along with "banana hammock" style bottoms which is VERY MUCH out of my comfort zone...That said, it is AMAZING how much more sexy we are planning for this trip. I would encourage you and your wife to do the same. I think newbies do stand-out because of the uncertainty that you and we both shared before our first visits. Regardless of what you decide for this trip...I PROMISE you that you will have a different mindset for your 2nd trip! I hope this helps. Enjoy!

We will be on our third trip during the first week in May.
First, I’d encourage you to participate in theme nights.
It really does add to the fun and makes it more memorable, by far.
For me, the theme nights are probably the highlight of the week.
More than that, picking out the clothes, ordering them, getting them, and planning how you’ll wear them is really sexy for a couple. It builds anticipation for the trip, and the modeling sessions are fun.
And if it’s your first time, it’s good to “rehearse” the preparations. You may feel a bit intimidated by the atmosphere at first, but having a plan for some of the week (especially the first theme night or two) might make it easier to get into the Pearl groove.

And that’s all before you get there!

As a man, I like to dress to the theme in a confident and sexy way.
Fetish night might mean tight dark jeans and a leather shirt, for example.
Sensual night might be silk pajamas.
Tropical night might be a nice pair of dress slacks and a tropical pattern silk shirt.
Accessories, of course!

So for me, I like to dress so that I feel comfortable and sexy, and I feel that I (we) are engaged in the theme of the party.
That being said, some guys will wear a thong underwear and flip-flops, and that’s okay. Just not my style.

The ladies (including my wife, thankfully) will tend to dress a bit racier than the men, and I think your question is partially to this point. Just because your lady is wearing a see-through body suit and heels, it doesn’t mean you need to wear the same (but you could). Please, just don’t show up in the cotton khakis and golf shirt that you wore on the plane.

So, dig into the theme nights. Have fun. Feel good about yourself and have a great time.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at some of the more revealing mens underwear and things like they and it’s definitely out of my comfort zone lol. But I figure if I’m naked all day or might be fun to do something out of my comfort zone since my wife will be dressing similarly.

Fetish- black shirt, leather pants
Sensual - white dress shirt and tie to match her
Tropical - floral resort shirt and shorts.
Glow- festival getup that glows in black light with custom made hat

Easy.

Indeed, it is a repeated theme, but no less interesting for that.
It is true that many men (perhaps half or more) choose not to make an effort on theme nights and leave all the show to the women, who really are the beautiful and attractive part of the couple.
However, I've always considered Desire an amusement park for adults, so I prefer to participate in everything I can, including games in the pool and volleyball on the beach (even though I'm a lousy player).
Golfandsun88 and Timandbarb's tips are excellent.
My turn:
Being a veteran of Desire (and two other similar resorts before Desire existed), my level of inhibition is absolute zero.
So I have no limits to the daring of my outfits. The only difference is that I try to have my wife characterize the theme of the night from dinner (when possible) and I dress up until the time of the bar and the disco.
This is how I would go in the 4 nights that you have on these vacations:
Fetish: Leather collar and wristbands with metal studs; some chain or leather ornament for the genitals; black boots and a whip or other punishing instrument in hand (which by our nature, we would not use in any way). Yes, you read that right, no clothes.
Sensual: A silk or satin robe with nothing underneath. At first it could be tied with its belt, but if it opens up during the night, perfect.
Glow: Some Cyalume bracelets and necklaces (You can find them at party supply stores), maybe some fluorescent paint. It would be ideal if they were both decorated in a similar way. Yeah, again I'm not talking about clothes.
Tropical: A flowery sarong tied at the waist and a lei of flowers around the neck, bare-chested, barefoot. She can wear the same lei and instead of the pareo a raffia skirt.
Go ahead, dare and you will not regret it! Save elegance for dinner and then don't be afraid of looking ridiculous.

We've been to Pearl 3 times and each time I get more daring. We don't normally partake in the theme nights, but we do try to dress sexy for the after-dinner disco time. Wife's usually in tight or sheer short dresses and no undie's of course, while she requests I put on a buttoned down shirt with contrasting fishnet or sheer thong. Took me a few nights to work up the courage, but I never looked back since.

The guys that let go and get way into the themes are the ones having the most fun and getting the most attention.

Go for it!

You are naked all day, I dress for dinner no differently than I would for any date night and when she gets ready for theme night so do I.

Tropical night is the only night I wear pants, just because underwear with a flowered shirt just doesn’t work.

Hope that helps!
