We had a question about reserving pool beds at Pearl. We’ve been to RM several times and know that if we want a bed, we have to get up early to reserve one, usually no later than 7:30am. But the pool is much small at RM, plus with the seaweed, more guests are forgoing the beach beds and going to the pool. Since DP has a much larger pool, do we still need to plan on getting up early to reserve a bed? Or can we sleep in a bit?! If so, what time should we reserve the bed?

No you don't need to be up early to reserve one, see the guys at the pool on your first day, tip them well and tell them how long you are staying, they will do their best to make sure you have a bed every day. You don't actually have to tip of course but they do a great job looking after you.

You may not get the bed you want straight away but they'll do their best to make sure you're happy and if you're there all week it's likely they'll sort you the same bed for the week, if not straight away then within a day or two.

Absolutely agree!

They do deal with beds and chairs differently at Pearl than at RM. We met a couple a few weeks ago at RM and watching them try to get a beach bed was interesting. They do not have the same issues at Pearl.

Also the pool guys are so much better organized at Pearl, even how they lay out the towels is better at Pearl.
