For those of you who have put your name on the waitlist, did you have success getting your desired days? We are trying to book and the only time we could go is showing sold out already, 5 months out.

It’s packed right now. We have had our reservations for months, and our flights changed so we tried to just add a day onto our trip and no luck.

Last year, we wanted to go to Desire for January 2022. Both resorts were sold out for the weeks we wanted so we signed up for the wait list. We never heard anything or got any emails about availability. I took us off the wait list and tried searching again, and voila, found availability. I found this odd; if there was now availability, why hadn't I been notified?

We ended up not booking anyway, because the rates were beyond our means. But keep trying: life happens and people cancel so there is always a possibility.

I signed up for the waitlist a couple weeks ago to go to Pearl in Aug. They contacted me back about the dates that were showing booked later that same day. I was able to get in for the weekend I wanted.

Thank you for the replies. I guess we will keep trying with our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Good luck you two! I hope you are able to snag a spot.

I would call every couple weeks. We always have had more luck calling than with the wait list.
