If wife and i want to have sex during any time on the beach beds are they patroling or we will be pretty safe from getting in trouble? any time better to do it ?

There is no patrol, there is a life guard during the day and security, and depending on the time of year a somewhat steady stream of folks walking up and down the beach since Pearl is 20 minutes by beach walk to Puerto Moreles.

The hot tub beds maybe more her style and during the day they are fairly quiet.

Sorry for contradicting wwpc. I partially live in Playa del Carmen and about once a month I go sunbathing naked on Pearl beach.
There are two types of patrols on the beach: one is done by the Mexican Navy and the other by the Municipal Police of Puerto Morelos, both aboard ATVs. None of these patrols will tell you anything for having sex on the beach beds, however you have to take into account that there is pedestrian traffic due the nearby of Puerto Morelos (1,750 meters from the town center but only 650 meters from the nearest hotel: Azul The Fives) and the various houses to the north of the resort. For those still using retard units this equates to 1.1 miles from downtown and 2,150 feet from Azul The Fives.
The problem is that although nudism is not penalized in Mexico and is fully accepted in Puerto Morelos, what is considered a felony are "obscene displays" when they are done in front of children or the mentally disabled. That is the risk that those who want to have sex on beach beds run.
I agree with wwpc that the ones around the jacuzzi are much better for this purpose.

Criminal law aside, there is always political pressure. In this day and age there is a perception that the big money is in “family-friendly” tourism. No doubt there are folks in local chambers of commerce, tourism boards, etc that would love to put political pressure on Desire and parent Unique to “tone it down” or “clean it up”. When you check into a Desire property they hand you a piece of paper to sign. Those are the rules. The rules exist for a reason. I also believe a bed around the hot tub is a better choice, for you and your wife. With all that said I think the beach at RM sees much less foot traffic than that at Pearl. The interpretation of the rules at RM may be somewhat less strict than that at Pearl. JMHO

We've never worried about it. We've f**ked on the beach beds, pretty much whenever we wanted (morning, day and night). We have never had anyone tell us to stop.
