Beach Seaweed???

Has anyone here seen the beach at Pearl recently? Just wondering what the seaweed situation is? Is the barrier still there and working, How much seaweed is making it onto the beach, and how bad is the smell?

We are arriving 8/22. How was it when you were just there?

Pretty bad. It’s not piled up too high on the beach but the water is saturated with it. Haven’t seen anyone swimming in the sea since we arrived (8/19) and it’s difficult to even lay on one of the beach beds due to the rotten egg smell that is in the air. Plus a good chunk of the beach has totally eroded away. Only eight beds left.
