Master Suite

Can anyone who has stayed in a Master Suite in the first building next to Aprodite, Rooms 1-7 advise on this location....is it a good spot? Did you prefer the room on the ground floor where you go down steps or the floor above with a balcony? Is it close enough to the pool that you could pop into your room during the day if you wanted to? Looking for a room central to most things, close to beach...

We just stayed in room 1, which is the Master Suite with Plunge Pool in that building with the door at ground level. It was extraordinarily convenient for the hot tub, pool, Aphrodite, and Suki. Definitely easy to pop back in for something. We didn't notice the other rooms, but we could exit via our patio, and go down a path to hot tub/pool. Desire Pearl isn't that large of a resort, so even Pearl (restaurant) and the lobby weren't that far away.

We stayed in room #10. It’s right next to the building you’re asking about. Master Suite ground floor , right next to the jacuzzi, close to the restaurants. Our favorite room.

Excellent thanks. If you leave your ground floor room via the Patio door, will it lock behind you?

We generally put a washcloth at the bottom of the sliding door which is the back exit. This prevents the slider from latching. Otherwise you will be walking around to the front for re entry. Not a big deal either way. And, we’d hate to preclude nekkid friends from visiting in the middle of the night. ;-)

Interesting that you ask if it will lock behind you. We’ve stayed in that room three times, and the door never did latch behind us when we closed it. In other rooms we’ve stayed in, it would latch. Curious if it’s been fixed yet.

Thanks....just booked but trying to figure out which rooms are on the 2 nd floor in the first building - Crab building. When you look at the front of that building and you see two balconies that are in direct view of the party end of the pool, are those balconies of Master suites? Ideally I would love one of those but I know one of the rooms in that building is a JR Suite Ocean view. Not sure but if anyone knows the room numbers of those two rooms with the balcony out front, please let me know so I can at leas try to ask for one of them.. :)
