Walking to Puerto Morelos

My husband and I will be at Pearl in a couple of weeks. We wanted to take a walk into town. Is it worth it?
We’re only at Pearl for.a few days and while I want to check out PM, I don’t want to miss out on anything at Pearl!

If only there a few days, I’d say no. If there for a week or so, nice way to break up the week.

It’s a 30 minute walk along the beach to get to the large grocery store.

We generally only make it into PM if we need sunscreen. If you get up early and go you are back by 10am and won’t miss a thing.

We walk into PM every trip, we normally stay 7 days, if we were there for just a few, we may not. We eat at Tacos.com. Pretty interesting place with good food and great margaritas.

If you like to walk along the beach, there is no reason to not walk down to town. As others have said, it's a 30 minute walk, and it's really nice. You can go down to the pier.

Also, there are massage tents down the beach that offer wonderful massages (nothing sexy, legit massages) at $40 a pop (that's the price It was for us last time).

We are coming in 2 weeks for only a few days and plan on walking the beach each day.

That's what we did also , nice walk . FYI , if you walk around town , guys will see your bracelet and tell you they work at Desire and served you yesterday . Then they will ask you to follow them to their "brothers" store , jewelry or t-shirt etc, that is struggling to get by , and he can get you a deal. They try to guilt you into spending your $$$$$ The massage down the beach is good , and you can haggle with them . There is a nice bar in front of the massage place too

Thanks! Good point! I remember reading that about playa del Carmen as well. We visited there a couple of years ago
