Can anyone provide and update on the Sargassum. We arrive 8/1 and we are hoping the Sargassum has diminished. Any update would be appreciated. Thanks, D&N

we arrive on the 2nd and are wondering the same thing. Am guessing it will still be fairly severe (and smelly).

We are currently about 10 miles north in an area that doesn’t usually get a ton and there is a ton here currently. Have seen several dump truck loads go by but still a ton along waters edge and in the water. Guessing similar there

We’ve just returned from RM and it was as bad as ever but not really smelly. They seem to have given up clearing it now

We are here right now and although there is a lot on the beach, it is not as bad as it was on our last trip 2 years ago. Thr smell is actually barely there. Pearl is close to the nature preserve/protected area, so they can't clean it all up... gotta protect the turtles. This is the story I was told, anyway.

We just returned yesterday. Spent 7 days in room 80. A MONSTER t-storm blew through Saturday afternoon. Before that the seaweed was typically awful given the time of year. Post storm, the seaweed was virtually gone. I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before it rolls back in...but as of now it's pretty good
