Pearl Beach Condition

We will be going in Sept for our 3rd trip and was wondering if there was any beach left after the last several storms/hurricanes?

Just got back. Beach is fine, less seaweed, for a few days the water was nice and clear.

Can confirm. We also just got back and the beach was in fine shape. Less seaweed (and smell) this season than in the past. a few workers were there every morning to haul most of it away.

Just saw a video from today at Puerto Morelos looking toward Fives. Water is clear and beach is clean (though the patch between Fives and DP is unattended). Anyone have an update on DP??? Two weeks and counting

We are here now. Barrier is doing a good job. Beach is pretty good as they are cleaning up what gets past the barrier. We actually got into the water a couple of times, first time in years. Not too bad…. Just a little mirky.
