Master Suite room recommendation?

Just booked our first trip to Pearl and hoping to get a recommendation on what room (or at least building to ask for when we do the express check-in). I've looked at the resort map but I'm not entirely sure if I'm reading it right. We've been to DRM a number of times, and prefer rooms that are farther away from the action (building 25 was our favorite (pre-Eden).

If I'm reading the map right, our best bet would be the Sea Star building, with rooms options being 80,81,84,85. Does that sound right? Are any of the master suites on the 2nd floor?

Appreciate any insight anyone can provide. Can't wait to check out Pearl!

Thanks!

Depends. Do you want 1st fl with less of a view, but walk out...or do you want a balcony with a spectacular view?

We just came back from room 80 last week. Best room we've had Pearl in 5 trips. We do like a balcony view. Rooms 77 & 78 are sorta considered the gold standard of rooms. They have plunge pools and are more expensive...and can be hard to get. Room 80 is directly above 78

Hope this helps

Appreciate the reply! We're balcony/view peeps. Don't mind a few stairs if I can open the doors to the room and look at the ocean.

we just got back from room 87. Top of the building (just underneath the penthouse room (88) and had a great view of the ocean and the quiet pool. We took advantage of that view a few times for some sexy times after getting back from the disco and hot tub...

oops - room 87 is not a Master suite, but just a standard Ocean view room. Still has a great view, however. (and the table on the balcony is the perfect height for... stuff...)

If I could post a pic I think you'd be sold. We will request 80 every time from this point forward. It is a bit of a hike, as it's the far end of the property...but a small price to pay in our opinion.

That sounds exactly like what we prefer. Something out of the way, and on the 2nd floor (or higher) for the views and the feel of the breeze.

Sounds like I know what to ask for, thanks!

Heh, I like the way you think! That's right up our alley. Thanks for the info!

Just remember...stairs can be a pain in the ass after a few days. What they consider 1st floor rooms (1 above ground floor) have only 1 set of stairs. Drunk, heels, and stairs is a combo we try to avoid

Last time there we had a Penthouse. I think it was room 75. Lets just say never again. Four flights of stairs up and down got old fast.
