Hi, we are ChiChi and Jarek from Canada, repeat visitors at RM and now also coming back to Pearl Dec22-28.
Since legalization of cannabis in Canada, we have added it to our sex life, and enjoyed its contribution to, e.g., intense squirting .
Given that trans-border travel with weed on board is not allowed, we prefer to rely on local supply of small quantities that are legal in Mexico.
A year ago at RM, weed (flower) was offered by "beach merchants" passing by - it was ok, even though (obviously) overpriced.
Anybody can offer comments on weed availability at Pearl ?

The official position at all Original Resorts properties(Desire RM. Desire Pearl, Temptation) is that if you are caught using drugs(including weed) on the property you will be ejected from the resort (ie - your vacation is over = no refund or recourse). The same is true of all other resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

The reason - every resorts management does not want to get the properties involved in issues regarding the police or the cartels !

I’ll add an unsolicited voice to the choir…. We, as guests, don’t want Desire involved in issues regarding the cartels.

In the not too distant past, the Hyatt Ziva had an amateur amphibious assault / gang shoot out / execution. All of which was centered around a turf war with drug sales.

The less reason they have to hang around Pearl, the less the chances some other bullshit will happen. Enjoy your weed at home. I pass no judgment at all. But there are collateral considerations in Mexico. Please don’t muddy the waters by buying weed at the resort.

I agree with all that was already said. Pearl is not the place for drugs of any sort. Plus, smoking weed makes it harder to get/maintain erections for most men.

If f**king new friends at Desire without drugs isn’t enough of a high for you, you may want to visit Hedo instead. They have weed for sale legally there.
