We were wondering if Pearl has the Chippendale contest any evening? A couple of years ago they had a contest with guest participation. It was very entertaining and funny.

I haven't seen it in the past few years. The playmakers or show staff would pull guests up onto the floor and things got out of hand a few times, so they may have stopped the guests interacting with the performers.

So I don't know what the evening was called, but as of December '24 there was still very much a show that involved guests up on stage and things getting VERY out of control...in a fun way. Let's just say we've got firsthand knowledge of the evening :bj

They had dropped the Chippendale contest when we were there last fall. For those that are unsure what this was, it involved male guests dancing and stripping and being judged. No professional performers. But they had a stripper show with professional male and female strippers, and they all pulled up guests who mainly ended up naked along with the professional performers. It was a blast,

Sounds like a blast. What night was it held? Do they still have a link to the week - long daily calendar that they use to have on their website. I can't seem to find anything other than the theme nights??

I want to say it was Sunday night. I don't recall any notice about it on the site. I do remember it was uniform night. My wife was dressed as a very sexy cop and I her prisoner. It definitely was men and women performers...not the regular playmakers. As soon as she was pulled up on stage I had this "oh shit" moment as it would only be a matter of time before they came and got me. It was a lot of fun!

For uniform night I was a pilot and Nina was a flight attendant. I know that isn't really emergency type of a thingie but heck if you get horny enough in flight...

Years ago, when visiting DRM with a takeover group, they had a 'competition' where the resort entertainers randomly selected 10 couples, all of whom were standing around the lobby bar as the evening entertainment began. They placed all the ladies up in a straight line and asked them to either drop or remove their tops. Then, in turn, they blindfolded each guy, asked the line to re-order themselves, and then the object of the game was for the guy to identify his own partner by feeling her breasts. I can tell you, it was a stressful, yet very memorable, process trying to ensure we correctly selected our own partners. Most didn't, thankfully, I was successful. Sadly, they do seem to have those sexy, but still playful, games anymore.

Not evening, but years ago at RM, the playmakers put an inflatable at the poolside and had a daytime competition where couples had to simulate as many sex positions as they could in 1 minute - or maybe it was 2 minutes. The first couple went at it hammer and tongs while everyone cheered them on and got thru a bunch of positions - which in itself was pretty crazy. But the second couple must have decided they really wanted to win and abandoned the idea of simulation. The actually did it all for real. The place went into hyperdrive, everyone round the pool on their feet screaming and cheering them on. And it didn’t stop there because then every couple followed suit. It was a riot. The playmakers were shocked but to their credit kept it going. I spoke to one of them afterwards and they said they had never seen it go that way before.
The thing is that it seemed to act as an icebreaker for everyone because for the rest of that week the everyday action round the pool definitely stepped up.
Never seen anything like that since.
