Hi. If you've never been to RM- Riviera Mayan, then you should likely go there. It's a great facility and you're guaranteed to enjoy yourself. We have not been to new property and are thinking about doing so but just for a change and to check it out.
As far as 'lifestyle' goes, it does not matter. Everyone does their own thing and no one cares whether you are or aren't lifestyle. People are friendly and everyone is there to enjoy themselves while respecting others.
Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Looks like Pearl is getting blasted on tripadvisor. Many problems during the first week. There were also some very upset guests who were "transferred" to the Pearl without wanting to be. I would be P*ssed it that happened to us. I am sure this is all just growing pains.
