We were at Pearl back in September, had a great time and are looking at booking again for late Feb / early March.
Food when we were there was -OK- not fantastic. Early in our week the resort was empty and service was slow (still upbeat and the staff was trying), latter in our week when the resort filled up; service in the resto's was positively glaaaaacial. Food was better when we ordered 'off menu' but still how far can you ask the kitchen to go?
About a month ago I rec'd a news letter from Pearl saying that they had replaced the Food & Bev management and they were making changes - have they been positive? Regardless we'll be making the trip 'cause we don't really go to Desire for the food; but eating is a huge part of making us happy…
Has anyone noticed the change?
