Heading back to Pearl in March -

When we were there in September there was a weekly Lifestyle friendly catamaran tour run by Desire… except it was cancelled our week. Has anyone been on the boat? We really enjoy being out on the waves, don't really care where the boat goes - just want to sit in the sun with a beer or two and have some conversations and naked fun.

Let us know if you've been out on it.

We've been to the cat trip few times.
Every time it was different.

Naked snorkeling is fun.
Rough sea is not fun.
Sex on the boat is fun.
Getting sun-burns after half a day on the deck under the sun is not fun

Bottom line is it is fun with fun people and can be boring if the crowd is not quite right for the setup.

Recommendation:
- Get to know someone who wants to go on the cat as well. Someone fun.
- Once you're on the boat, dont just sit there. Do something. Dance, go crazy. As soon as you sit down you may get motion sick.
- Take motion sickness pills if you think you may get sick.
- Go easy on the booze.

Thanks - Kind of what we figured…
Motion sickness isn't a problem, we're both made for open water and are looking for someone else to mind the sails while we have some fun.

We have done a couple of naked cat trips and have had a blast each time: be sure to bring something to cover up with though because it is sooooooooooooooo easy to lose track of time and the sun on the water is intense !

So it's actually run by Desire? And it's a large catamaran? We'll be there in May, and I know we'd certainly be interested in it!

Yes run by Desire, but the cat is small, maybe 6 to 8 couples max

6-8 couples is fine… nice and intimate.

Last year the cat was departing from Temptation, so we had to put clothes on and go there on a mini-bus.
It was so much better when the boat was departing from Desire RM.

We've done this one http://baresailing.com/ before. I believe they pick up from Desire. Not sure whether this is the same thing mentioned above. I don't think this is actually run by Desire. Our trip was more "relaxing" than "party". I would imagine it just depends on the group.

Unfortunately - no matter what their website says - Mike and Crissy have stopped doing their cruises to concentrate on their condo business in the Playa area.

Good to know! But there is still one available from Desire? Or some other place? I was really looking forward to this!

Too bad - it looked like kind of a relaxing low key kind of cruise… Even though they stressed 'no sex'. Looking forward to the Desire cruise that allows a little sexy fun.
