So as a newbie I am not sure I get the theme night thing? What do people do or ware?

Well it's a New Party Every Night At The Resort with activities surrounding the nightly theme with shows sometimes,or the cuisines or the music.Everyone is dressed in theme to add to the evening the ladies oh so sexy and some of the outfits are really amazing and seductive and the only word is WOW,the guys styling in theme with class hey "it's a PARTY". You dress the roll when you go to a football game wearing your game attire, or mardi gras bring out the "Beads" or a white party with all the black lights or a night out on the town dressed to the "9'S". Well each day at Desire it's a new party & theme be excited, be entertained, be involved and have fun it's Vacation let your imagination run wild.

Not "everyone". The percentage of people dressed in theme varies with the crowd and the theme. In our experience (at Desire RM) the percentage ranges from about 10% to maybe 60%.

Our experience is also coming for Desire RM.
So not to be taken literally "sorry" not everyone is dressed in theme.
Some themes are easier than others to prepare for and pull off plus it all comes down to choice.
We do not participate in the schoolgirls theme but love the White Party, Neon Nights & Casino Nights
The percentage depends on the crowd and the time of year and if a group takeover is in effect too.
Last trip we enjoyed dressing in theme 3 nights out of 5 nights it was much more like 60%-75% participation the nights we chose at the time we were visiting.
We do use the desire forum finding out a lot in advance, connecting with others going the same time as us and it has helped in our choices.
It's fun your on vacation live it up and enjoy living out fantasies & desires.
