Nudity level at Pearl

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are planning to come to Desire in August 2013.
We've been to Desire RM twice before and loved it but are considering Pearl this time.

We love being naked surrounded by other naked people having a good time, so my question is
can anyone tell us what percentage of people at Pearl are actually naked? Reading some of the
posts it seems that quite a few people seem to be staying clothed. Anyone been lately that could
give us a rough idea?

As we are coming from Australia this is a costly vacation and we don't really
want to spend all that money and then be surrounded by clothed people whilst we're naked.

Any input would be really appreciated, otherwise I think it will be Desire RM again ( also a good option ).

We were there in September (going back in March) - I would say that 95+% of the men were naked all the time, and the few who started with shorts lost them quickly. The women were all topless at the pool, with less than 10% keeping their bottoms on some of the time (and we all know that there are reasons for this at various points).

Of course there were lot's of women who wore something suggestive to the pool…. just so they could remove it with everyone watching.

Too bad we won't be there when you are, kitten2 - we both will definitely be naked! But I think we overlap a day with you, heavyG. See you there! And we'll let you know what we thought of the resort when we get back. We've loved all our trips to both Desire RM and Desire Cabo - I know we're going to love Desire Pearl as well.

We were there in Oct/Nov last year and I was naked all the time but my hubby kept his boardies on and got naked only for the hot tube.
Most people are naked and you definitely won't be in the minority having your all clothes off!
Enjoy.

But not naked in restaurants. And rarely naked in the Disco (especially men). Right? That's my understanding from my online research.

So it's a little different than more "nudist" places like Hidden Beach, where many people are naked ALL the time, including meals and disco.

Hi everyone!
Thanks to all that responded to my post.
You've reassured us and we will be coming to Pearl in August, not sure of the exact dates yet.
Looking forward to meeting new people and having a wonderful NUDE vacation.
One more question, does Pearl do honeymoon packages or deals?

Laughed at "not naked in the disco". Two nights on our November trip we stayed later than most and danced. We, with 3 other couples, were the last in the disco and by the end, we we mostly naked if not all naked. Best part was the bartenders remembered our drinks and had them refreshed for us in between songs.

Love Pearl

Just got back and it depended on where you are.... Pool area I only saw one lady with her bottoms on. Ocean area a few more. Everywhere else mostly clothes on except for a few times at the disco :P . Playroom and Jacuzzi don't need to explain those. Believe a lot depends on the "groups" that may be there when you going.

Because it's not a nudist place :-) It's a lifestyle friendly resort with clothing optional around the swimming pool. I have heard that locals are trying to ban nudity all together as it disturbs them on their beach walks. Not sure how true it is as we have not experienced any problems on our holiday. I suppose it may be slightly different at the high summer holiday season when there are many young kids around.

If you are looking for a nudist resort to experience the whole "natural" way of living you would be disappointed, Desire has a more of an erotic vibe to it...

Yes. But the nuances between co, lifestyle, nudist, party, etc can be hard to appreciate at times. :D I just wanna be naked.

You can be naked just not everywhere and not at all times...

Yep--that's why we're trying it. Looking forward to some of that vibe.
