Questions from us newbies

Postby atlanticbare » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:38 pm

 Hi guys,

We are brand new and quite excited about our first trip to Desire Pearl mid-March. We have a few questions now that our time is getting closer. Hope you would be kind enough to answer them.

First of all, do most or all participate in theme nights every night; and
Is there a separate dress for dinner and another then for the theme night at disco?
One more thing, is body painting always available?

I would appreciate any and all info you might have, thanks so much.

Hi Guys,

Not everyone dresses up, but enough do that it's obvious there is a theme. It's up to you, if you choose to dress up, you won't feel out of place.

This is how most of our evenings ended up playing out to:

- Head to the room around 6PM and get changed into dinner clothes (slacks and shirt for him, sexy dress for her).
- Eat dinner around 7 ish.
- Back to the room to freshen up and change into our theme clothes after dinner.
- Head to the lobby bar for our "grand reveal" just before the nightly entertainment started.
- Schmoozing, entertainment, disco, back to the room to change into robes then hot tub and...

But really it is up to you. Develop a routine, or play it by ear. The great thing about evenings at Desire is that you can treat them as a buffet. Indulge in all of the entertainment options... or none.

Participating in the themes is a lot of fun. If there is an aspect to the theme that appeals to you, go for it! If a theme doesn't appeal to you, just dress sexy and have fun. Many people dress for dinner then change for the disco. It's really up to you.

We would like to hear more about body painting at Pearl. It didn't happen when we were there.

I think the theme nights at Desire Pearl when we are there for the first time include XS, Sinners, Casino, Heavenly, and Neon. From our "research" it appears women are more likely to dress for the theme than men. I assume on Heavenly Night people wear something white? On Sinners night it seems clear that red and/or black are in order. Casino night seems fairly straight forward. XS seems to be the sexier the better with something bright and bling? How is dress for Neon night different than XS?

Are the outfits women wear typically ok to go to dinner in first and then hit the disco? Or typically are the theme outfits too sexy/revealing for the restaurants so a change is required between dinner and disco? Do people hit the lobby bar after dinner in the outfits they will wear to the disco?

A lot of questions, lol. Thanks for your answers in advance.
