We are headed to Pearl in April and have been in the lifestyle for a few years now. We have been to RM twice and both times we found there to be a good amount of lifestyle couples that were looking for the same thing as us (either soft or full swap).

For those who have been to Pearl and are in the lifestyle what would you say the experience was like with meeting similar couples and playing?

HAHAHA...ok this must be a first, we posted this question and it was viewed and read 256 times, but ZERO responses, check the history books, has that ever happened? We want to make sure Pearl is actually a lifestyle resort with swingers, lol. If not we need to cancel our trip

When we were there, there was definitely some swapping occurring. How much will depend very much on who's there at the time, just as with Desire RM. Your odds will also depend on occupancy which was lower than at RM when we were there (last June), but may have picked up some since. Also, because Pearl has fewer people in general (fewer rooms), your odds of finding good matches will be slightly less than at RM no matter what. If swinging is an essential for you to enjoy your trip, probably best to time your visit with a similarly minded takeover. That's the only way to guarantee there'll be a large population of swingers. At other times you'll find a random mix and there's always a chance that the mix may fall on the low side when you visit.

Just got back (March 2nd -10th) from our second trip to Pearl - We had no trouble at all hooking up with full swap couples. We even turned a soft swap couple to full, and had a soft swap with a couple who claimed to be 'just' nudists.
I guess it's all in how you work the room or in this case the hot tub… Most nights the disco cleared out pretty quick as people hooked up and went back to their rooms - but there was always a crowd in the (very small) play room & on our last night we arrived late and had trouble finding a spot.

Glad to hear that, HeavyG. My hubby and I will be there first week in May, and have never been to such a resort or in that environment. We are certainly hoping that some "excitement" will be going on since I have no idea what will happen with us until we get there. We are not swingers, but are certainly open to any level of such. But again, until I'm there, I have no idea how I will react. My hubby is game for whatever I'm comfortable with.

Can someone elaborate on the difference between a full and soft swap?

It varies depending upon who you talk to, but in general intercourse=full swap, oral=soft swap

Yep, differnt definitions based on who you're with at the moment! Most define full as intercourse and soft as anything else other than intercourse......but like any other encounter it's best to discuss comfort levels and/or boundaries! Will avoid uncomfortable situations.

Just our 2 cents worth on the subject this coming from the next door neighbor couple, who for 48 weeks of the year live the normal everyday grind of working hard and making ends meeting and putting a little back for our old days and completely out of the lifestyle.
That leaves us the other 4 weeks out of a year to get away & run naked having fun letting loose & howling at the moon naked under the stars.
We are nudists by nature as we love to be naked and free always and swingers by choice seeking attraction, personality, chemistry and connection with new naked friends that might lead to more if it's an option.A decision and private discussion the ladies tend to instigate usually on one of those trips to the restroom together as it's always about them and what makes them happy and hot.
To us anything sexual playing short of swapping partners for intercourse is enjoying the Softer Swing side of the lifestyle
which leaves lots of forplay and oral to explore as a group swapping and then to have intercourse with your loving partner same room/bed as your new friends who are enjoying the same fun this is our kind of fun.Full Swing would be going past that point of no return and actually swapping partners for intercourse and no matter the situation that is just not for us and at beyond or boundaries.
