Power outlets

Are there adequate power outlets in the Pearl rooms? At RM, we had to unplug a light or the TV to charge phones & laptops. Will we need to bring a power strip like we do at RM or will be ok without bringing it to Pearl?

Better bring your power bar, the outlet situation is not much better at Pearl either - lol

You will be fine - just unplug the tv - if it's anything like when we were there, you won't need it!

We are heading to pearl in June, never been to desire resort, this is the first I'm hearing of this . So there are no outlets in the rooms unless you unplug the tv , not even outlets in the bathrooms lol. Didn't think that was possible in 2013.

There are outlets in the rooms but just a few. Not enough to plug in your phones/laptops/ etc... without unplugging a light or the TV. Just bring a small power strip & you will be fine.

All of my power strips have 3 prong plugs. Are the outlets in the rooms 2 prong or 3 prong? This is our first time at Pearl.

All outlets are 3 prong
There are a few outlets in the bathroom for the hair dryer, curling iron, etc
Yet out in the bedroom we always bring a power strip to charge iPhones, iPads, laptops, etc. If nothing else, at least you can avoid power surges and any other anomalies which have not occurred but better safe than sorry. The amount of outlets in the bedroom are lacking, I think about 2 or so. We don’t unplug the TV , how else can you enjoy the channels up in the 40s (porno for the newbies) ;)

and don't forget an extension cord.

Especially for those plug in toys you might bring. :P

Wow. We bring two phones, an iPad and rechargeable toys. Never lacked for outlets. I can't imagine needing a power strip and/or an extension cord.

Obviously, if you have lots of things to power, you might need the extra outlets but for all you newbies wondering, here's one voice that says you can leave that stuff at home.

We just got back, there were two outlets above the tables on each side of the bed, I can't imagine what y'all are charging at the same time that would require more. Super Duper Deluxe Sybian?
