Authentic Mexican food

Leave in a week. Can anyone tell me if the menu items or restaurants carry any mexican dishes? How about guacamole? This description of the food items is very vague and we are just curious.

We were there at christmas, and again a few weeks ago.

At christmas we found that there wasn't enough Mexican food, but there was a bit more in April. Less so at dinner. I'd like to see more, but it doesn't appeal to everyone.

Breakfast includes chilaquiles, sometimes tamales, etc

At lunch particularly. Now in addition to the buffet, you can order from an à la carte menu which includes some very good tacos. One day they brought out a rotisserie for Tacos al pastor, which I think makes this the only all-inclusive resort anywhere in the two neighboring states to serve Pastor, which is normally mexican street food.

At almost every meal I asked for corn tortillas, beans, salsas (both habanera and otherwise), onions, guacamole, etc. The staff was eager to bring them, they were usually very good, only once was there much a of a delay.

So, Provecho!

We had guacamole and salsa almost everyday for lunch...very good. We had small chicken soft tacos a few times and they served guacamole with them...very yummy.

Not Mexican food, but I LOVE Argentinian cuisine, there's a Argentine grill in town, we walked there in December and got some REALLY good empanadas, they make them fresh. We got 5 and brought them back and kept them in our room - great snack after the club/hottub when u dont want the greasy pizza
