Can men wear slacks with nice t-shirts instead of collared shirts? Are jeans or khaki shorts permitted?

Dress code for Pearl:
Dress code for dinner: Elegant- Men wear long pants, sleeved and collared shirts. Men's sandals are not accepted. Women wear sensual night outfits.

Aphrodite:
Dress code: Smart casual- No shorts, sleeveless shirts or men's sandals

It appears you don't need a collar on your shirt at Aphrodite, however most of the men are decently dressed at Pearl in the evening, which is nice.

Note: They do enforce the dress code. When we were there in May they would not let one guy in our party in the restaurant in hurrache type sandals, a very small opening at the toe.

We will never understand why men try to get away with the bare minimum of effort. Dress up, look sharp.

Lots of shorts at the beach grill restaurant at night last week. It was very warm at night.

Is it ok for women to wear dress shorts along with heels and a nice blouse to dinner? Or only dresses and skirts?
