What are recommended tips for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at this resort? What are the dinner options and cost for the meals you can pay extra for?

We tend to tip staff at the end of our stay. We try to find out when they have their day off so we do not miss them.

Try not to forget the ladies that clean the rooms. We always leave something on the bed each day.

We do this, as well. And we prefer not to wait until the end of the trip to tip. We tip as we go along, typically a large tip at the first service, and then consistent smaller tips throughout the week. Although we are sure the service is always amazing no matter when or if you tip, this is what we have always done and it has worked out well for us. One year our patio was close to a bar and while sitting there with friends every day before dinner, one server who was at the bar would see we needed refills and bring them to our patio without us saying a word. Right or wrong, we did not see him doing this for anyone else.

We are tip as we go people. Money is left on the bed each day for the room gal. During the day for meals, bar and pool service we always tip. What they get depends a lot on the level of service, just like in the US. The better the service, the better the tip.
Some seem to really go out of their way more than others.

We tip right from the start - We feel that if we wait until the end the servers think that we may not tip at all.

We also tip as through out the day that way that person is sure to get the tip. Leaving a tip for housekeeping when we leave the room in the morning. at the dinning room, at the bar, and of course the servers around the pool. We don't look at tipping as extra cost but part an outstanding vacation the same as a dinner out at home. The only ones that we tip just before we leave is the ET staff.
