Pool Bar Hours Extended

When we were at Pearl this past 4th of July week on numerous occasions the pool bar would close down at 4:30 pm, even though the advertised time is 5 pm. We made the suggestion that it should actually be extended to 6 pm due to there were still alot of bodies in the pool and at the beach area wanting a refreshment.

Per an email I received today from Valentina - Management at Pearl they have taken our suggestion and extended the hours till 5:30 pm.

Those that are just arriving or soon to be please let me know if you are able to get a drink at the pool bar at say 5:20 pm. Wanting to see if in fact they are keeping it open as we hated when we tried to get a drink at 4:45 or 4:50 only to be turned to the jacuzzi bar or the bar in Aphrodite.

Yeah we'll watch for it when we arrive on the 22nd - wondering ourselves if any of the suggestions that we forwarded to them after our trip in March have been acted upon… Have to say, if the pool bar closes at 4:30 it's fine by us - we're usually in the hot tub by then anyway.

This would be a big plus as 4:30 pm is way too early to stop bar service at the pool. I'm sure there would be plenty of people there until at least 5:30.

Can anyone comment who's been there recently when the pool bar is closing? What are the other bar options once the pool bar closes - assume that's when the hot tub bar gets going? Other options?
