We will be first timers at the pearl at the end of July! My wife wants to know if carrying, just a few extra pound,is is going to make her stand out? She has a cracking figure, but she feels nervous. Can I reassure her??

We have been going to Desire for years, as well as other C/O resorts, and we have seen very few "perfect" bodies. We, as well as some of our friends, could stand to lose a few... one of the best things about Desire is that you see every body type and size there. Your wife will fit right in, we're sure of it.

Let me share this little quote from a friends (male) trip report about his first time to Desire:

'The women were all absolutely beautiful. Each different in their own way but it’s the uniqueness of each that make them o so beautiful. Looking back on it…. I honestly don’t remember a single flaw on anyone. Believe it or not ladies…. if you have any flaws we can’t see them and we don’t care! It doesn’t matter here.'

We have been to Cabo twice, and Pearl once, and we’re booked for RM later on this year. The one thing I have found is that the sexiest part of a woman or man for that matter is “confidence” You can have the best body in the world, but if you don’t have the confidence to show it off, then no one will see it. A woman, any woman for that matter standing or walking around in the nude is a beautiful sight to see.

Thanks for all the messages, they are just what is needed. We intend to use all the activities the pearl has to offer, but she just needed a confidence boost. If any of you will be there at the start of Aug this year then let me know.

You are worrying all about the wrong thing.

The only thing to worry about is how you are going to afford all the future trips to Desire!

Paddy, the convicts will be over to visit Pearl for the day on 3rd August if you're there.

My wife had breast reduction surgery many years ago and there is scarring. She feels this will be an issue. After reading these forums I don't think it will be a problem. Can anyone confirm this so I can ease her worries.

We have been there when there have been women who are in the middle of breast reconstruction process due to surgery - not a problem, they are all beautiful..

You should have her read a trip report titled "Disabled/had surgery - Would I feel uncomfortable going ??"

hotspot...we are at Pearl now. We have seen a man with a prosthetic leg, women in various stages of recovery from relatively recent breast surgeries, etc, etc. Like Cokeman says, no problem at all...come on down.

YEAH IT DON'T REALLY MATTER...BE CONFIDENT AND BE PROUD...THE FUNNY THING IS...WHEN I AM IN MIAMI AND ON 8TH STREET BEACH I SEE SOME OF THE SEXIEST LOOKING BODIES AROUND..HALF NAKED-BARELY COVERED UP.(MUCH LIKE ME-LOL)..BEAUTIFUL SITE FOR SURE...BUT WHY IS IT THAT 'THESE' BODIES ARE RARELY FOUND ON A NUDE BEACH OR AT HAULOVER BEACH...MAKES YOU WONDER!!!???

I wish I would have had my wife read this 2 weeks ago, in prep for our Nov trip she just got lypo and boobs for her bday,,, lol

we saw all sizes and shapes there....it was never an issue....the guests and staff are probably the most laid back non judgemental fun and friendly people you could ever meet....go and have fun, no inhibitions, no worries....
