Posted: Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:06 pmWe usually leave $2 or $3 on the bed for housekeeping. The bar depends - if we're getting drinks from a server at the pool or beach we give them 5-10 a day and the bar about 5. If we're getting drinks ourselves the bar gets 5-10 a day.

BellHop/Bell Boy/Porter - $2-3 each way
Maid - $2-3 a day
Pool/Beach server - $5 a day
Pool/Beach chair guy - $2 a day
Hot tub bartender - $5 a day
Lobby bartender & Disco bartender - $1 a round
Breakfast/Lunch - $2 - 3 each meal
Dinner - $5-10 each meal.
Generally speaking $25 a day in tips is given out because of excellent service. Saying "gracias" and being polite and not demanding goes a long way with all of the staff.
