We did DLC in April 2013 and then again in May 2013 ---being from SoCal -- it was awesome! Literally from our front door to the pool in under 6 hours....
Now we are looking to try Pearl as we no longer sadly have the DLC option available to us.
Wondering how the weather is in Cancun around March & April ---one of the best things about DLC was the reliably no rain weather.
---also hoping something opens in Cabo --- just like everyone else --- once we did desire, any other vacation is just sad.

We've been in March / April and didn't encounter rain. Nigh-time temps were cool, but actually quite nice for us. Big downer was the temp of the main pool; it seems to be unheated and we didn't see anyone in it beyond during the activities. Even then the activity crew had a hard time convincing people to get in.

Of course we'll be back this March - so the 'problems' listed above really are just champaign problems.

I agree, march and April are great months in the RM! The difference is the Mosquitos if your comparing to DLC. So bring bug spray for the evenings, they won't bug you during the day at all though. Day time temp is hot, hot, hot, while the evenings are usually calm with a little tropical breeze, but it's welcomed!
Pool temperature can be a little chilly, but it never ever stopped us from getting in! In fact, I believe that once people see others in the pool, it's like a chain reaction, everyone else jumps in! So don't worry bout that!

Like Kate, we were DLC frequent visitors in the spring so now we're headed back to RM/Pearl in March and can't wait! It is a great time of year to go, not quite as nice as Los Cabos but it does cool off slightly in the evenings and no HURRICANE threats....

Booked at RM 3/1 - 3/7 then over to Pearl for the weekend (3/7 - 3/10)!
