Heading to Pearl for the first time in December and wondering if anyone can recommend a particular OV room for our stay.
Are rooms around the hot tub noisy and can we see PDA from the rooms? Would someone recommend ground, 2nd or top floor? We don't have any particular requirements but just wanted to know any pros and cons from the various villa locations.

We have been twice in the past 10 months and headed back in December for the holidays It's really what you prefer. Some people LIKE to be on ground level so they can walk out of their patio and to the pool/bar/hot tub/ restaurants - and to avoid stairs. Some people LIKE to be closer to the hot tub and pool bar so they can check out the scene, have shorter distance to walk, etc. The music is loud - so if that doesnt bother you and you prefer what's mentioned definitely request a ground level room either close to hot tub, or farther away.

We always prefer to be farther away, but again, just our preference. I have a "thing" about not wanting to be on ground level rooms EVER - mainly my own personal sense of security and also have been some places where the mosquitos are worse on ground level. We also want our room to be quiet for the few hours a day we are in it So, we request an OV room on the highest floor and closest to scuba shop - that's the farthest building away from everything - its really not FAR - just a little more removed from the action.

Again, up to you, but close/far to hot tub, and higher level/ground level are usually the things people select based on their own preference. Really not a "bad" room there though, just be sure to let them know in advance your preference and they will try to accommodate you!
