We're wondering if there's a tennis court at Pearl? If so, what's the condition of it, does it get much uses, and do people play tennis nude?

Desire Pearl has a tennis court, which is located across the (public) road in front of the resort. The tennis court more or less is surrounded by mangrove, so quite some mosquitos. When we were there last June and in August last year, we haven't seen anybody using it.
As you have to cross the lobby and a public road, you will have to wear clothes on your way to the tennis court.

The Pearl does supply tennis racquets and balls for the use of the guests.

We played several times last March. Brought our own racquets and balls. Decent court and somewhat secluded. Security walks across the street and unlocks it for you.

My wife and I played tennis almost every morning when we visited this past July. We brought our own racquets but forgot to bring our own balls. We used the resorts, but next time we will bring a few new cans for better performance. FYI if you do bring your own balls, make sure the cans are unopened otherwise the pressurization during your plane ride will ruin the bounce. No, you cannot play naked!
While we were the only resort guests playing, 2 mornings there were a few locals playing as well. They had good game and we joined them for a few doubles matches on those mornings. If you do play, make sure you reserve the court the night before. That will save you some time in the morning because security will already have the court unlocked for you. Also, it's the tropics, so play early, and bring plenty of water. We stop in the gym fad grab a few extra bottles before we walk over.

FYI, the tennis court at Desire RM has been taken over by a solar water heating project! The entire court is covered and isn't usable. This was a total surprise for us (tennis players) as there was no mention of that here or on the Desire website. Management says that the court was very rarely used and the solar water heating project is a better use of the space.
We got our tennis fix by taking a cab to Pearl every morning. It's a hassle, but when you were planning on that as your exercise, you gotta do what you gotta do.
It would be nice in the future if Desire RM works out an agreement with a neighboring hotel for court usage, but that probably depends on customer feedback!
