I've seen pictures of the Desire Pearl pool and there are a number of beds (not the lounge chairs) around the pool - can anyone reserve these, or are these either for people staying in the Penthouse suites or for members?

There are beds around the quiet end of the pool at Pearl. Maybe 6 or so. Available on a first come first served basis.

Yep the previous poster is correct about six beds On the quite side, first come first serve , and when we were there in June they were the last seats to fill up with a couple staying open all day because people like to be at the party side of the pool.

I think the reason they don't get a lot use is because the backs don't tilt up (just a mattress) like the ones on the beach and hot tub. So it's hard to see what's going on, you can roll a towel up but it just not the same. Still good for a nap!!
